Accounting paper kicked my arse, badly.

Friday
Met up with Calvin, Julian, Zhixiong for supper, planned for chalet, talked about everything under the 'moon'. It was a night well spent with them, because we never laughed so hard together for quite some time. :)

Saturday
Went to Hongtat's chalet, Kbox again at Downtown East, drank and played games.
Met Yoketing as she was at one of the chalets over there too. Had a heart-to-heart talk with her while gazing at stars. :)

Memories

I couldn't resist turning back to look.

That place is just full of both fond and sad memories.

I walked to the place where we last met and talked.

I left with a heavy heart.

I was watching the Destination Most Wanted (8pm Channel U show) hosted by Wang Lu Jiang(Bryan Wang) and they were introducing Bhutan and it's traditions and culture. I think it's a pretty cool place and Mr George Teo actually described briefly about that island during our FOM lecture before.

Bhutan has a very magnificent scenery and pretty waterfalls! But it wouldn't be easy to gain access to this isolated nation.

Oh on a random note, i finally booked the chalet!! :)

Shall start inviting people soon! So so so looking forward to this chalet !

Today's DBMS paper was a killer. I would be thanking god if i could pass this paper. Definitely don't want to forward this )(*&^%$#@! module!

Played pool with the guys till like 5pm after lunch and K.O-ed at Moberly, the sofa quite comfortable eh. Hoho.

Okay gotta revise abit before hitting the bed!

Happy Valentine's Day to all!

But it wasn't a happy one for me.

It's not sad either.

It's just...lifeless?

It just feels like any other normal day, but a little bit emptier.

Gosh, fuck emo-ness.

Just played ball with the guys today. Really feeling rusty after not having played for such a fuckin long time.

Gotta start on revision man. I'm seriously not familiar with all the modules now. Especially DBMS, it's a killer!

On a side note, there's NBA All-Star Weekend to look forward to. :)

Argh, i need more interesting events to brighten up my life a little.

Went to school today for some study session with Lawrence, G.T and Jeffrey.

After having our lunch, we went to the usual room we did our projects at and started playing poker cards. I suggested the Demon Card game. The person who got the 'demon card' would have to do forefeit.

The first game's forfeit was easy - just 10 pumping on the table.

The 2nd game's forefeit was to crawl like a dog along the whole stretch of tables in the other classroom. The battle was between me and him in the end. We both had a 50% chance each at the last turn.

I sent my phone to Nokia Care for repairs yesterday and they told me it would take 2 to 3 working days to fix the problems. But they were very efficient and called me up today afternoon to inform me it's ready for collection. Problems fixed and i give them thumbs up for their customer service!

It's like I feel so insignificant now.

Popped panadol pills for cold relief last night and fortunately my fever subsided this morning.

I really felt damn miserable for the whole of yesterday.

But on the other hand i felt quite loved by my parents who took great care of me, especially my Dad.

I was pretty shocked by how concerned he was at first, because usually he wouldn't really ask about me unless i looked like pale and dying. (okay this is an overstatement.)

It's heartwarming, really.

Thanks Dad & Mum. :)

Sick for the first time, in 2009.
So many of my friends fell sick in this festive period before me.
I thought i could remain fit throughout this Chinese New Year but...
Down with fever, body aches, sore throat, flu and swollen eyes.
